1. Should I bring a driver?
We recommend anyone over the age of 65 or any diabetic arrange transportation to their eye examination, as they will likely have their eyes dilated.
2. Is there a fee?
Children are covered once a year by Manitoba Health.
Adults (ages 19-64) are not covered by Manitoba Health. We direct bill to Blue Cross, if you don't have Blue Cross you can submit your receipt and invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement.
Seniors, Diabetics, Glaucoma patients: These patients will be notified of any examination fees when they book their appointment.

Visual Eyes Optometry says "Aloha" to Maui Jim Sunglasses!!!
Maui Jim got its start in 1980 as a small company selling sunglasses on Ka'anapali beach in Lahaina, Maui.
Seeing a need in the market for technology that could combat intense glare and harmful UV rays while bringing the brilliant colours of the island to life Maui Jim engineered the revolutionary PolarizedPlus2® lens.
The PolarizedPlus2® technology goes beyond sheilding your eyes and harmful UV rays to reveal and enhance the world's true vivid colors in detail.
What began as Maui Jim's Classic Collection of seven styles, has evolved into over 125 styles of sunglasses, all of which are polarized and protect from 100% of UVA and UVB rays.
Come by our optical to check out all the latest styles and lens designs Maui Jim has to offer!
